Recomendations needed!

So yesterday was not a good day for reading, I read about two books. (Well finished one, started and finished another and started the third), and of the three books I read, I only enjoyed one.

It's days like these that knock my reading confidence.

So I'm looking for recommendations. I want a YA book.

I don't care if it's fantasy, paranormal, historical, fairy-tale or contemporary.

I want a little bit of romance, preferably lesser known or recent books, as I have read a lot of books!

Please post a comment with your recomendations!

  1. BIG HELLO. its annmarie from best books.

any books by Amanda hocking are great.
the gone series by Michael grant is great.
i liked the (The Heir Chronicles) by Cinda Williams Chima

    hope this helps :D

  2. Hey. Thought I would pop over and answer your question on my blog here, since I couldn't find an email. There is a linky page for posts that tie in to Fairy Tale Fortnight, so if you want to write something and share it (or have written something, like that Princess and the Hound review I see below this), then you can link it there:

As for recommendations...are you on Goodreads? It always helps to see what you like/don't like. :)

  3. Hey annmarie!

I've heard great things about the Gone series, though it never really interested me, i may take it out of the library and try it at some point! I'll have a look at the others tomorrow too!

And thanks Misty, I plan to post a review of Goose Girl by Shannon Hale tomorrow, so it will definately link it.

I will eventually get round to putting a Goodreads button on my blog; heres my profile though:

Tell me your thoughts on the post, the book, the world. I like volcanoes, feel free to tell me about volcanoes.
