Waiting on Wednesday - 23rd December

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Anyway, here is my WOW pick, let me know what you think and link me to yours!

Winner's Kiss by Marie Rutkoski
March 10th 2016 by Bloomsbury Childrens

The Winner's Kiss (The Winner's Trilogy, #3)

War has begun. Arin is in the thick of it, with the East as his ally and the empire as his enemy. He’s finally managed to dismiss the memory of Kestrel, even if he can’t quite forget her. Kestrel turned into someone he could no longer recognize: someone who cared more for the empire than for the lives of innocent people—and certainly more than she cared for him. At least, that’s what he thinks.

But far north lies a work camp where Kestrel is a prisoner. Can she manage to escape before she loses herself? As the war intensifies, both Kestrel and Arin discover unexpected roles in battle, terrible secrets, and a fragile hope. The world is changing. The East is pitted against the West, and Kestrel and Arin are caught between. In a game like this, can anybody really win?

I devoured the first two in this series earlier this year and now I am in stasis waiting for the last. Note: I absolutely love this cover :) The dress is so pretty and it will match the other pretties on my bookshelf!

Remembrance by Meg Cabot
February 2nd 2016, William Morrill

Remembrance (The Mediator, #7)
In REMEMBRANCE, the seventh installment of the Mediator series, all Susannah Simon wants is to make a good impression at her first job since graduating from college (and becoming engaged to Dr. Jesse de Silva).

But when she stumbles across an ancient murder, old ghosts—and ex-boyfriends—aren’t all that come back to haunt her.

I used to write post #6 fanfiction about Suze and Jesse I love love loved them so I neeeeeeeeeed this like yesterday.

  1. I am really looking forward to reading The Winner's Kiss as well! I am disappointed in the mid-series cover change, but the UK cover looks beautiful.

  2. Nice picks this week, Jade! I hope you'll get your hands on these as soon as possible.

  3. I don't know about either of these books but they do sound great! I really hope you'll enjoy them! :D

  6. Definitely can't wait for The Winner's Kiss. I really enjoyed the first two and I need to know how it ends! I love that colour green, I only wish my cover of the second book had the blue dress on it instead of the red version and then that green one would go better beside them!!

  7. I am also looking forward to The Winner's Kiss. I haven't read the first 2 books in the series yet, but I do own both, so i think I will just have to marathon the entire series when this is released. Great pick this week!

  8. I have yet to read the Winner books; but now that the third book is coming I wouldn't wait years for the sequel!

And OMG! There's a seventh Mediator book!?! Gimme!

Thank you for stopping by and for following. :) Old follower.

  9. I'm also really excited about The Winner's Kiss! When the covers changed, Twitter exploded! It's also my favourite cover, but I read the series on my e-reader anyway ;) I'll probably read Remembrance since I read the Mediator series when I was younger. Meg Cabot totally wants to write more about her "old" series, because there were already Royal Wedding earlier this year (which I loved). Great picks :)

  10. I've not read either series, but they sound great! I hope you enjoy them. :-)

  11. The Winner's Kiss is one of my most anticipated releases for next year. Seriously, I can't wait! I hope we'll both love it. Thanks for sharing, and for stopping by my WoW earlier. :)

Tell me your thoughts on the post, the book, the world. I like volcanoes, feel free to tell me about volcanoes.
