In My Mailbox (5/8/11), Week in Review & Next Week

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren,
in which you post all of the books/e-books/audio books that you have recieved/bought/won this week and link 'em all up!

I'm not doing a vlog this week, as I'm in serious pain and the video would involve a lot of cussing and hissing, so I took some bad quality photos!

This is what I got in my mailbox;

Just five books this week, which should mean my TBR pile goes down and not up!

Here's what I got from swaps;

Meridian by Amber Kizer - I've been after this for ages so I'm so glad I got it! Totally excited to read it! :)

Here Lies Bridget by Paige Harbison - This looks like a funnier version of If I Fall by Lauren Oliver, which is funny because when I requested this swap, the other swapper chose to take my copy of If I Fall, the copy is a bit battered but I'm still totally excited to read it!

Silver Phoenix by Cindy Pon - This one has mixed reviews, but I'm a fan of Asian-influenced fantasy so I will definitely give it a go!

These ones I got from publishers:

Deception by Lee Nichols (Bloomsbury, UK release: 5th September) - I'd never heard of this one before but I saw an awesome review from Lesley at My Keeper Shelf yesterday so I can't wait to get into it!

Shimmer by Alyson Noel (Macmillan Childrens, UK release: 5th August) - I've already reviewed this one here.

Misfit by Jon Skovron (Abrams and Chronicle, UK release: 1st August) - I've already read this but the love people at A&C sent me a finished copy! Yay :) review here

Emerald by Karen Wallace (Simon and Schuster, UK release: 4th August) - I've been after this for ages - I loves me my bit of historical intrigue!

Delirium by Lauren Oliver (Hodder and Stoughton, UK paperback release: 4th August) - Call me ignorant but i haven't read this yet, it sounds amazing and Is aw so many great reviews when it was released but I couldn't afford it, then it slipped my mind. So excited!

Won:

I won these awesome Mortal Instruments bookmarks from the gals over at best books.
Aren't they amazing!? Isabelle, Jace and Clary, Simon!
